What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a technique for balancing the flow of energy by inserting
extremely thin needles into your skin.  After acupuncture, some feel
relaxed while others feel energized.

Acupuncture is used by patients suffering many different
diseases such as:
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Headaches
  • Low Back Pain
  • Menstrual Cramps
  • Migraines
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Tennis Elbow

What should you expect?
The acupuncture needles are very thing, so insertion causes very little
pain or discomfort.  There are normally between five and twenty needles
used in a typical treatment. The needles will usually stay in place for
fifteen minutes to a half hour while you lay still and relax.  There is
normally no discomfort when the needles are removed either.  After they
are removed the needles are thrown away.
